FYRD SALE!
Greetings unto the Good People of Calontir, from your Fyrd brothers and sisters!

In this time of shared financial burden, we have all banded together and are doing what each of us can to lessen the toll of this grievous levy.

To help in this endeavor, the Fyrd will be hosting a Calontir Fundraiser at the upcoming Chieftains Tournament, being held in the fair Barony of Three Rivers.  This Fundraiser will be two-fold!

ALL donations will be given to Their Royal Majesties, for help in refilling the coffers of the Kingdom.

Rent-A-Fyrd for the Tournament! Choose a Fyrd (or two) to represent YOU in the Chieftains Tournament(s)!  Or Rent-A-Fyrd to help carry stuff in from your frigidly cold car, to be set-up in the friendly warm area of your choosing.  Fyrdmen will be available at Gate, so when you check in, simply donate and one of us will be available to help with unloading or by giving you honor on the fighting field.

Fyrd Auction! Fyrd will offer their services as archers, equestrians, and fighters.  Bid for the chance to have a Boga-Fyrd teach you the skills of archery or represent you at a future Tournament! Or for an Eo-Fyrd to bring you honor with thundering hooves at an equestrian event!  Or for an Iren-Fyrd to bring honor to your name in the next melee tournament!  Alternatively, bid for a Fyrd who is willing to help YOU set up your camp at an upcoming event - be it Gulf Wars, Kingdom Arts & Sciences, Lilies, or others. (event will be decided between Fyrd and Winner of bid.)

So bring extra cash and donate to help our great Kingdom of Calontir!

PHOTOGRAPHY FUNDRAISER!


As a fundraiser to assist in offsetting Calontir’s portion of the recent SCA lawsuit settlement, my lovely lady and I will be doing a portrait photo shoot at Chieftains.

100% of the profit after covering material costs will be donated. (CD’s, CD envelopes, Ink, & photo paper, etc.)

As a full-time professional of over 30 years, I will pose and photograph you with professional lighting and background. (Squeaky bunny NOT included)

THE COST WILL ONLY BE $20.00 PER SITTING!!! (Extra donations to support our Kingdom gratefully accepted!) You will walk away with one CD of high-resolution JPEG’s, one legal Copyright Release that will allow you to print the professional images at a commercial laboratory, and one small 4”x6” inkjet proof print from one JPEG to stick on the fridge and draw purple mustaches on or frame when you get home.

Payment can be made either by check or cash. WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE CHARGE OR DEBIT.

Bring yourself, your family, your best & worst friends, your husbands, wives, girlfriends & boyfriends, your ex’s, your squire brothers & sisters or anyone else you would like to have professional photographs taken with. The background is large enough to take a group of 8-10 people (VERY CLOSE TOGETHER!)

Bring your armor & weapons, your new or old favorite period clothing, whatever props you would like to be photographed with.

We SHOULD be shooting from 10am-4pm, with a break or two in-between.
Based on the positive response we had last year at Chieftains doing this same event as a fundraiser for Calontir’s soup kitchen, PLEASE COME AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE, WE MAY NEED TO SET APPOINTMENTS TO BE SURE EVERYONE CAN BE SCHEDULED IN THE SHORT TIME WE WILL BE AVAILABLE!!!
